BIODIVERSITY

All of us, the living things of this planet, share our living space, our nutrients, our life-cycles, and our resources. We are interdependent. Imagine the number of life forms shown in this photo alone. Remove that tree or decrease the sunlight to it or the pattern of rainfall and ALL of those life forms cease to exist. One tiny change can destroy an entire ecosystem. Think about this in everything you do each day from choosing the foods you buy to the paper wrapper you carelessly toss. Everything you do contributes to the interactions of all life forms on the planet and the planet itself. Life is lovely, abundant, miraculous and terribly, terribly fragile.
