Petrea volubilis with Bumble Bee


Petrea also known as Queen's Wreath and Sandpaper Vine grows in bright clusters of blue flowers and violet calcyes. The flowers are short-lived, but the calcyes are much longer-lived. The flowers attract bees and humming birds and the seed is contained within the calcyes. :
